I am a mom of four children; I have 6 year old twin boys, a 3 year old boy, a 1 year old little girl and absolutely no time.

If you listen to Tyler and do what he says, you will make your goals.  In the four months I attended Farmington Valley Fitness Boot Camp with Tyler (twice a week) I lost 30 lbs. and feel great.

My energy level and strength has gone up so much.  Before working with Tyler I could never have done a push-up, now I can do push-ups!

My weight had soared as high as 272 at age 23 and my health was deteriorating. I had high blood pressure, high triglycerides, and still had back pain. In October I went to the doctor, she was one of those tough love kinds of people; she told me if I didn’t do something I was not going to live to old age or even middle age. At that point I was ready to change my life.

I started working with Tyler. I was nervous at first considering my last experience with a trainer. Tyler was amazing though. He started very slow with me.

Tyler changed my way of thinking and helped me to incorporate good fats. Overtime the weight started coming off, I lost 83 pounds total (so far) and instead of weight goals I started making physical goals. I decided I wanted to take up running. He helped me with my running and how to build up my stamina.

As the weight came off and I got stronger, through core training with Tyler, my back pain subsided. My triglycerides went down to normal and I was able to get off medications for my high blood pressure. It was an amazing feeling.

Tyler is a great support system, through his emails, meal ideas, training and as a person! He has given me the support I needed to see how strong I actually am, inside and out! I went from a girl who walked the mile in gym class to the girl who likes to run 5Ks!

30 Years Old and In the Best Shape Of His Life

I started 2008 weighing 315 lbs with a 48″ waste.  I was able to start working out on my own in the middle of January and lost about 30lbs and 6″ of my waste by the end of May.

That’s when I met Tyler English and got introduced to his Farmington Valley Fitness Boot Camp regiment.

I was turning 30 on July 6th and still had a ways to go in feeling and looking like I wanted to.  Tyler is a hands-on trainer and very quickly created for me a nutritional plan along with a training regimen that proved to be exactly what I needed to get where I wanted.

By the time my birthday came around, I completed a 6 week boot camp.  I lost 20 lbs, my waste was 37″ and the muscle definition all around definitely made me feel good about myself.  In late summer I completed another 3 week camp with Tyler and lost another 10 lbs and 3% body fat.

Tyler is by far the most experienced and knowledgeable trainer I have ever met.  He is extremely passionate about his clients and their personal goals.  It is through Tyler’s knowledge and passion that I am in the best shape of my life.

Mentally and Physically Stronger”

I’ve been a member of various gyms for the past 12 years with the best of intentions. Depending on my schedule, I would either get up early and go to the gym or go after work. But after all this time I was never able to see great results.

It turns out, I was putting forth all of this effort and getting very little in return. It was frustrating to say the least. A few years ago I started graduate school and it became my excuse to stop exercising consistently. Needless to say I gained weight.

I started back and saw a sign for Farmington Valley Fitness Boot Camp. I did some research and subsequently signed up. This is when I first met Tyler. I had no idea what was in store for me.

He made me see the importance of nutrition in addition to high intensity workouts. I know it sounds cliché, but I feel mentally and physically stronger because of what Tyler has taught me. He’s made me realize that it’s not about the number on a scale, but more about self-awareness and accountability to your own body.

Honestly, when first approached about the fitness boot camp idea, I was a bit turned off.  I was nervous that I wouldn’t be getting the attention that I needed and being a bit shy, I was intimidated by the group concept.

Turns out I was completely wrong.  I find the group environment to be very supportive and motivating. Seeing everyone else complete a particularly challenging set gives me the motivation to push through.

Additionally, I never feel that I am not getting the assistance or support that I needed.  Actually, I am getting more support since I had the encouragement of my fellow boot campers and training partners.

In the 6 weeks that I attended Farmington Valley Fitness Boot Camp and the two months that followed I lost close to 20 pounds.
